Strolling along my familiar path, for my morning walk, I was talking to God about my family, ministry for the fall, and my friends.  I was praising Him for how I have been able to see Him so clearly shaping situations, ‘going before me’, clearing the way for us to work together.  As I was walking along the rural road, I saw on the fence posts beside me,  a beautiful small bird with red feathers following his mother.  Watching closely as she too, made sure danger wasn’t there as they together hopped from fence post to fence post, chirping to one another.  I wonder what they were saying? 

As I continued my walk, I came along a similar scene.  A young calf being guided by her mother.  Same thing.  Being taught and coached.  As I drew near, momma moved slowly in front of her babe, looking at me out of the corner of her eye.  Was I friend or foe?? 

  Hmmmmm….

Twice in the span of a rural block, God showed me pictures of how He, so closely, watches over us to coach, guide, and protect His babes!  “Thank You Jesus for remindind me, through your creation, how you keep us close enough to protect, but give us wings so we can fly! I love YOU!”

So thankful for the guidance of my Heavenly Father,
