I just returned from the Winnipeg area after spending the weekend with their NAB Women’s Ministries group. Every year, all the churches in Manitoba that belong to the North American Baptist Conference have a retreat together for the women. About half of the women there have connections to Trinity! I got smart after a while and started asking some people to write their greetings to some of you, rather than just sending them with me verbally!

I came back with many things to give God thanks for, but one of them is spending time with “extended family” I didn’t even know I had! It can be so easy to forget that we are connected to a larger family…a bigger picture.

I think that’s the way it is sometimes with God’s plan, too. I can get so wrapped up in what’s happening for me, that it can be easy to forget that I am also one part of a much bigger plan.

I wonder what part of God’s big picture I’m a part of today?
